fsdhfdkjfkfskjdf. I just got back from seeing The Lion King on stage. kjawbhsjbdf. FREAKIN' AMAZING.
I cried so much, especially the opening scene of "The Circle of Life." The effects, puppetry, grandeur, dancing, singing etc. is just so breathtakingly fantastic. There was so much color and movement and just pure awesomeness.
Afterward, Malori, Jennifer, Rebecca, Margaret, a random Australian Asian dude, and I waited outside to get the casts' signatures. Unfortunately, we missed Scar and Rafiki, since both bolt out of there pretty quick according to the very nice Nala. She was so beautiful and just so sweet. She asked all of us our names before signing and even went inside to check to see if Scar was still in there after we had been waiting a while. It was really difficult recognizing everyone without their make-up. Especially Rafiki and Scar. They snuck right by us. However, Rebecca and I definitely recognized Mufasa. Oh, Mufasa. He is soooo handsome. Actually, when he approached us, he asked us if we knew who he was. Rebecca and I immediately responded, "Mufasa~!" He seemed surprised.
Anyway, I really loved this play. Now if only I had the money to see Wicked, Oliver, Avenue Q, Love Never Dies, and The Woman in Black. I would be a very happy person, but a very hungry anf broke person as well.
Now it's time for bed because I have to get up in 5 hours. Yay! :D
It's worth it though, since my Physiological Psych class is going to Norwich Castle to see a private collection of the Death Masks of Gall. It should be pretty interesting, considering the subject is phrenology.
