poseable sparkle

I got a new jewelry stand! Unfortunately, I haven't quite figured out the ins and outs of making pictures work well with it. I think the answer may be to take pictures in either a brighter or a darker room than I've been using, because this sort of middle-ground dimness isn't good for clarity.

New stuff first, and then a lot of stand-posed pictures of old necklaces!

I don't remember where I got this assortment of red beads, but I'm glad to put some of the weirder ones to use here.

Simple but elegant.

I like the contrast of what these little glass drops look like on black and on white.

Just a little crystal drop on gold. I put a picture of this on Twitter and was thrilled when folk there liked it!

More of the same crystals, this time on silver.

I saw a necklace like this at a craft fair and figured I'd try my hand at something like it!

This bracelet is definitely kid-sized, and if no one else wants it, it'll probably be my niece's for Christmas.

I've had all these components for a while, and I'm so glad they work together! Once upon a time, though, the big pink leaf at the bottom chipped, so I glued the chip back on; you can't see it unless you get real close, but you can feel it because it was a new kind of glue and I didn't know how it worked.

Some autumnal glass beads! Kind of simple, but I think it works.

Searching for some beads to match a ridiculous pair of drmoonpants' shoes, I came across these. I don't know if the match is quite right, but you have to admit, they're fun.

More from that assorted back of red beads I mentioned earlier.

...I may or may not have run out of chain.

It's hard to tell against the black, but these are very dark purple beads -- and they're hard to photograph flat, on account of how clustered they are. If that last picture looks weird, that's why.

And here's a bunch of other necklaces with the display stand! I've listed all them for sale before -- and if I haven't listed them for sale, uh, I somehow forgot. You can find better pictures elsewhere. If you've got any questions, please ask!
