So... yes, yet another entry that starts with "I realize that no one reads this and that I neglect it horribly, but if anyone is out there I think I'm actually back this time"
Of late, I've been trying to get back to working on my different internet projects. Namely, my different mail-art sites and my deviantART account. My only real success has been with the latter.
I have over four hundred pictures from my Peru/Chile trip with People to People that I am gradually uploading to that. All comments and critique of my work are appreciated, and if you don't have/want a dA account I gladly read any and all emails as long as you tell me which picture you're talking about. (meaning, put a link to the picture in your email so I can see what you're talking about)
http://tersaika.deviantart.com/ is my page. LadySilverwings was taken on dA when I got there, so on it and my redbubble account I am Tersaika. The name comes from the book series I'm co-writing with my best friend,
http://reivaylor.deviantart.com . Curious? ask me about it.
As I just mentioned, I also have a few pictures (some of the best from my dA account) uploaded to
http://www.redbubble.com/people/Tersaika . That's mostly because they're the ones I think I can sell prints of, and redbubble gives me more of the money from such sales. I'm also planning to start making t-shirts from some of my pictures, which will be available through that account. If you're interested, please tell me.
I have also been trying to get my 1001Journals.com journals tracked down and back running, but as of yet I haven't found any of them. *sob* Oh well, I will probably start a new one once my schoolwork levels off.

In other news, I just found out that the Washington Journalism and Media Conference has accepted me. As soon as I register, I'm going to start epic fundraising so that I can actually go. The conference is one of those amazing once-in-a-lifetime opportunities that I can't resist taking, and although there's a slight conflict with dates of something else I was thinking about doing this summer, it's worth it for me to go. (and I get college credit! yay!)
So, I'm going! :D
http://wjmc.gmu.edu has more information for any of my phantom readers who are interested.
I'm going to be updating my blog at least semi-regularly from now on with updates on my fundraising and such regarding the conference. It's a recommended thing, and the schedule says something about "blog project", so I have a feeling I need to be doing this.
As for fundraising... if anyone wants to donate money to me, please email me. I'm also planning on the tried-and-true sponsorship letters, and possibly playing my harp for tips. I'm also going to be collecting money from the sale of my dA and redbubble merchandise, and I have plans for an Etsy store with my handmade things somewhere in the near future.
If you're interested in any of these attempts at fundraising, please contact me!

Schoolwork update!
If my mom has her way, I'm going to graduate sometime this December. Joy of joys, that means I have to get all of my remaining classes done by then. At the moment, I'm waiting to take my final for the first semester of Record Keeping, and I'm working on the second semesters of Geometry and Business Image Management and Multimedia. BIMM, I haven't worked on much because the assignments annoy me and I haven't gotten Office installed on my new laptop. (which is a MacBook Pro. I'm still excited about that, and I've had it for three months) As for Geometry, I have two lessons left. I'm challenging myself to get both of them done by midnight on the 28th. Think I can do it? I hope so.
After I finish these two classes, I'm going to be testing out of the rest of my English classes for High School. Unless, of course, they'll let me take dual credit for my last year's worth, in which case I will probably end up actually taking it.
I take my SAT on June 5th, and my ACT on June 12. Meaning I have to skip the first Saturday of the Spirit Wind tour to go take a test. Oh, joy.
Can anyone tell that I'm a bit overwhelmed?
Ah, well, I'll survive it. When I graduate, then I have to start applying to colleges... I'm planning to take a year off so I can get all of my paperwork in by the proper dates. Fun, isn't it?
It's times like this that I'm grateful I'm homeschooled... (yes, I know it's really distance ed)... because I don't have to really worry about class times or such. :)

Ok, so I think that's enough for now! Cookies for commenters, if there are any!
