FUNNNNKY dreams
Ok, and now it's time once AGAIN for me to post a dream online because it involved so many people I know.
In it, I came home from wherever and I lived in like a two story town house thing in the middle of a really poor, black neighborhood. I opened the door and expected just to hear my mom and dad talking (because I lived with them there) and instead... I heard a LOOOOT of noise and weird kids and stuff were buzzing past me on scooters. I freaked out and ran upstairs where:
Fred, Shannon, Matt, Madison from Beloit, and Barbara were all sitting there talking. They all turned to look at me and were like "Hey, Rhiannon! We're going to be staying overnight with you! Isn't that cool?" And I was like "Wh-Whooa..." and then INGRID came in and she was like
"I'm going to use your shower now. Let's hang out when I'm done."
Me: O_O "Ok?"
And, kind of overwhelmed by all of this, I ran back down the stairs and ended up in Dillard's in a huge mall. Somehow this mall was JAPAN and I ran into Chris! And he was running away from some bad guys and dragging me around with him and I was all shook up, since I hadn't expected to be in Japan (really Dillards), and I hadn't anticipated seeing HIM and I got all weirded out and then looked at my watch and realized that three hours had already passed and Ingrid was probably OUT of the shower by that point and reaaaaally angry for leaving her in my house without her.
But, I couldn't find the stairs back up to my room! Chris tried to help me but to no avail and then MATT was there and suggested that I take the weird looking elevator in the store. And so I said "OK!" and jumped in the elevator but neither Matt nor Chris got in it WITH me. So I pushed "THREE" for the third floor and... THIS WAS THE SCARIEST ELEVATOR EVER. There was this weird fuzzy thing that I had thought was the doors when I got in it, but once it started moving, the fuzziness started spinning around and around- and the elevator started shaking in a frightening manner and turned SIDEWAYS on itself and went really really really fast so that the lights were flashing in a scary manner and I was TERRRRRIFIED. So I pushed STOP! And it opened... right back where I was before with Matt waiting outside the door (Chris must have ran off from the scary people who were chasing him)
Matt: "Hey! I just asked that pretty lady over there" *points at pretty Dillards worker* "about where that elevator goes and I know now!"
Me: "A cemetary?? Does it take you to a cemetary after it kills you??"
Matt: "It takes you to Laclede's Landing!"
And this dream was reaaally messed up then because it occured to me that Laclede's Landing (a real place in St.Louis) was right across the street sorta from the mall...that was in Japan.
Matt: "So, it'd probably take us to Centralia too!"
Me: "What?? There were only three floors. If the third floor was Laclede's Landing which is across the street how can it take you to Centralia which is further away than that?"
Matt: "WHOA. What are you doing here??? I bet Ingrid's mad at you"
Me: "AAAAAAGH"
So I got in the elevator again and even though we had just DISCUSSED how the third floor was Laclede's Landing, I pushed the THREE again and ended up back home. And.. it just got weirder and weirder and Ingrid WAS indeed mad at me... ^_^;;;
ALSO! I have this new game on my computer called X:Card of Fate for the WonderSwan... and it is SO MUCH FUN. It seems like it shouldn't be-- but it is so COOOOOOOOL... Too bad it takes me a long while to translate what the people are saying! Usually I can sort of get an idea of what people are saying, but in this game... MAAAAN.
