I went to see Star Trek on the weekend just gone (oh dear god it's only Tuesday night and already it feels as though the weekend was foreeeeever ago!!). And I really liked it! It was new, it was fresh, and they've given it a good kick start because now they can do whatever the fuck they want and just say "alternative universe!!"
No, seriously though, aside from the director's love for lens flares and the slightly annoying photography, I really enjoyed the film. I liked the actors, I liked the characters, I liked the way they felt and what they did with them. The story line was somewhat cheesey and flawed, but hell, it's Star Trek.
Only bad thing about the movie was the fact that I saw it at 10.15am, I had only woken up at 9.30am so I figured it was too early for a blue slushy. That made me sad.
Other than that, good stuff!!
