(no subject)
Over the weekend Rick was down, yay!! I didn't get to prove that I can drive, no yay!! But still, it was an awesome weekend, we all hung out and did cool stuff and went to the movies. We saw The Simpsons Movie and Die Hard 4.0 Want reviews?
The Simpsons Movie
was good!! It was better than I expected, mainly because I was expecting something pretty bad. Mainly cause if you expect something bad, you're likely to not be disappointed. Some great one liners, some great little Simpson-y things. Bart and Flanders was fantastic, just so random, and rather loved Homer's way of fishing?
Spider-Pig though? I know everyone raved, but I didn't find it that great... but that's just me.

Die Hard 4.0
As a Die Hard movie? Crap.
As a movie by itself? Loved it. Aside from the seriously cheesy line from McLean's daughter.
Justin Long was fantastic. I've loved him in just about everything I've seen him in and let's face it, he's pretty cute! But again, loved him in this movie... but it's a pity that he got all the good lines. And all the swearing. I can understand why they wanted to put it down to a PG-13 rating, but still, McLean's crudeness was part of what made the three previous films.
The whole idea behind the movie was somewhat frightful though well pulled off. It helped that the bad guys were hot. Though the whole "we're a bunch of ninja-hackers" was a little frustrating. But, meh, action movies.
However the whole aircraft and bridge scene? Whatever.

Now it's time to watch some Stargate before bed. Yay for Stargate!
