commin down off the birthday wave
you guys would NOT believe this. My birthday turned into a 4 day celebration this year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thursday: Wake up to find mike in bed with me!! He took the day off!!!!!!!!! no so Friday night lights( but I DID check for the previous nights episode spoilers) or Sean Bean Marathon! around 11:00 his parents call to say they are coming down to take me out to eat. So I get all nice and cleaned up and they are here by noon!!!! They live in Athens Ohio, about an hour and a half away. They come up the walkway carrying a brand new car seat for shannon as an early Christmas present! Its one of the nice expensive ones too!!!!!!! They come inside and give me this BEAUTIFUL card about how special I am to the family and how loved I am and all this other sappy stuff. His parents ARE NOT like that. They are not a close knit family like mine is. The card is signed LOVE YOU (parents names here) and has 25 bucks in it!!!!! Then they telll me "lets go eat. your choice" So. I chose Applebees.
I had an appetizer of cheese sticks, fiesta lime chicken for an entree and the maple butter blondie for dessert!! WOW!!!!!! IT ROCKED!!!! So we went back to our house and played with shannon and visited for a lil bit, made plans for a Thanksgiving visit and they went back home. Next came all the phone calls, answering all the myspace and JL messages for my fabulous family and friends!!!!! Talk about some thoughtful people! You guys are the best!
Friday: Mike tells me to take the day off from housework, so I play on the net all day chatting, surfing, and looking up movie news. That night we watched Iron Man YUM! I LOVE the new and improved Robert Downey Jr. WOW! Talk about someone who's looks changed over the years. I guess once ya lay off the drugs, buff up and quit drinking you get hott as hell! I think I have a new celebrity crush......LOL He made one hell of an Iron man.
Saturday: Get up, go to my parents house and that evening they take us out to Outback for dinner!!!!!!
How great is that????????????? I get cheese fries for an appetizer, steak for an entree then call it quits there. I didnt wanna overdo it. I was just indulging in the decedance of being spoiled. My aunt was watching Shannon and Jennifer so we had no worries, literallly. Only bad thing was, my parents wouldnt let me drink cos of all my meds. NO matter how badly I begged, my daddy said no way. still looking after me at 32. I got over it though, and we went back to their house and just went to bed.
Sunday: Got up early with Shannon and my parents cos my mom had to work, and I wanted to spend time with my dad before we headed home. It was nice chatting with him. I dont get to do that much these days. My life is so hectic. I dont know how Im getting the chance to sit down and get this entry in.....LOL.
I was craving breakfast food BADLY. So, I ate leftover outback steak and had a recsee cup for breakfast. Decadently cheating on my diet, but feeling good. LOL. Feeling bored, watching my dad channel surfing, he stopped at Van Helsing, which had JUST come on. Hugh Jackman=SUPERHOT!!!!!! He's a new crush too. So Jennifer, who is up and awake by this time watches it with me. Its the outback hat and Aussie duster that does it for me. So that was my breakfast eye candy.
Mom took the afternoon off, and she had a lil b day party for me with cake and ice cream. My cousin brought her lil ones over and we all had cake and ice cream. It was so sweet.
I hadnt imagined that this would go on for 4 days straight!!!!!!!! I hadnt celebrated my b da this long since I turned 21 at Marshall!!!!!!! That celebration lasted a week! Talk about crazyness!!!!!!! THis was such a surprise to me! Mike thought it was too. It was so unexpected. We were all caught by surprised.

* national treasure was on in the kitchen on moms TV yes, a Sean Bean movie....so Technically he was present at my party.....LOL, I am such a geek! my dad came in and said he should have called him up and invited him.......mike just shook his head. I was licking my lips and said " um, sorry i have icing on my mouth, let meget it off.....LOL DOUBLE OBSESSED GEEK!!!!!!!
