Okay, so today was my last day at work and although I had a good day work wise I kept avoiding my boss and supervisor. I know it sounds really childish that I did that but they pissed me off so bad this weekend that I just couldn't help but avoid them. Besides, it was either avoid them or tell them off. You see this past weekend I had a banquet I had to do and the only thing I didn't do before I left was put down coffee cups and napkins. I had asked Isabella, one of my co-workers, if she could make sure that that got done. The next day when I came in to do the party there were no cups or napkins. It turns out that my supervisor Micheal Anne had told them that they weren't going to do it. I asked her about that the next day and she asked me me turn, " how could you be here for 8 hours yesterday with your only responsibility being to set that room and not finish it." Or at least it was along those lines is what she said. At the time I was so blown away I didn't say anything when what I should have told her that I was suprised to hear her say that being as she has been there for over 6 months and still doesn't know how to make a work schedule, make a floor plan, divide tables or even arrange tables for a banquet. I won't say that I didn't have enough time to finish that room or anything but, she made it sound like that was all I was doing the day before which wasn't true. I had one day out of the year and a half that I've been there that I wasn't entirely on the ball like I normally am and she hasn't had one good day since she started there. The best part was that on Sunday, just a couple of days after that incident, we apparently were going to be very busy for brunch but it didn't really affect me since I was scheduled to work a banquet and not the floor. She had been there since 6 AM that morning and had to have seen the reservation sheet and for some reason it didn't click that she should probably call somebody in since one of the servers had already called out for that day.  I guess she thought that it wasn't necessary so she didn't, instead she came up to me before brunch started and asked me very sheepishly if I could pick up a table of 13 people that was coming in an hour before my banquet was to start. I guess my facial expression at her request gave away the fact that I was about to say no but then she immediatly let me know that if I needed help with anything that she would be more than willing to help me with both things. In my head I was thinking "yeah right, like I really need any help from you to do my job." So, I told her that I would pick up that table but that I would be fine on my own. She kept coming up to me and asking me if I was fine if I needed help with taking out food or anything but, just as I had told her before I was fine and really didn't need any help. She just really made me mad with a lot of her comments, not just about work but personal stuff too. I wonder if I could sue? Well, if I could I don't think I would really bother with it since it does cost money to do that sort of thing plus, from what I hear about the company they're aren't doing to well financially.  So  I probably wouldn't  get much out of them lol. Oh well, onto other things.

School had started once again and I was only able to get into one class, college algebra. I'll take it as sign though since I have to go see a counselor to get my credit info straight. I was looking at my grades from last semester and I noticed that my GPA had gone up a little since I got good grades last semester woo-hoo! I hope I can keep the ball rolling for this semester which so far is off to a pretty good start. I have a new job, a challenge at school, soon I'll be moving again and I have the same lover, that's okay though ^_^, so I should be pretty optimistic about all of this yet I find myself in a bit of a funk as well. NOT GOOD! Me + a funk = nothing good. I get so lazy and disinterested in everything when this happens. Must get motivated...to the gym! As some of you already know I joined a fitness club before the end of the year but due to so much work and all I wasn't able to really start going until the beginning of this year. I have been trying to go every night with Miguel and so far we've been doing pretty good with it. I've lost about 5 lbs. which isn't much but it's a slow process so one step at a time I guess. Miguel was mentioning to me as well that he doesn't want to buy anymore bread to further help him keep his sugar under control. I totally agree with him on that one because although we don't eat bread everyday we keep quite a bit of it in the house. Of the 5  12 packs of coke I bought when we first moved in I just threw out the first empty the other day, and hadn't even finished it by oursleves. Actually, I think I used most of it at the dinner party. We're on a pretty good start but we both have a long way to go. I should start keeping a journal on this stuff.

The best thing that I've done so far was download utorrent. Two of the valets at work are into anime and they're both pretty cool guys. Chris is my age I think , is Korean and goes to USF. Carlos is in the Army, also my age and is Puerto Rican. We started talking about anime after I let them borrow last months NewType magazine that I had taken to work. We started talking about it during our lunch break and Chris was the one that wrote down all of the info for me. I only have one complete series d/led and that's Genshiken. I have the first 2 dvd's that were released but they are so expensive, even online and I have a lot of bills to pay. Manga I can afford but not dvd's. I'd buy dvd's but only like limited editions or stuff like that y'know. Well, got to fly. Ciao babydolls^_^!
