Whoa

Yesterday I went in for my dental surgery - removal of my wisdom teeths. They had been problematic for years. Over time, their impacting of my rear molars has pushed all my other teeths together, and now you can't even tell I used to have braces. T_T Yesterday, they came out, wewt. It was weird, though. I opted to be knocked out for the surgery, and the surgeon happily obliged. The IV was started, and I was given some form of gas to perform the initial knock-out. That was the most surreal experience I have ever had. All I remember is I was talking to the people in the room around me, wide awake, and then I blinked and the next thing I knew I was being put in my mom's car. Holy shitsicles, wtf? I didn't even feel myself going "sleepy time, brb". I usually have a small gap in my memory when I go to sleep, but being knocked out didn't place a gap in my memory.

Also, from what I was told, I was busy waking up even before I was hauled out to the car. I don't remember that.

They also had a really spiffy little machine, it monitored my heart rate, blood pressure, and my blood oxygen content (which read 100%). I have a built-in oxygen sensor that my mind uses (can't tell if its PollDevice() or SetInterrupt() ) and I sometimes get warnings (or notices) when my oxygen content dips even just a little bit. I had decided to use that time connected to that machine to see just how sensitive my built-in blood oxygen sensor is. I closed my eyes and held my breath until my mind gave me the first warning about the oxygen level. When that happened, I opened my eyes and looked at the machine - 99%. So apparently my built-in oxygen sensor is rather sensitive. It would be interesting to buy a machine like that just to see how accurate my built-in sensor is next time I have one of my epic panic attacks.

Late last night, input from my lower lip started to return to normal. Almost the entire day, it had been really numb and the only input I had was contact input. Late last night, pressure input started to come back. This morning when I woke, it was no longer tingly and all inputs for that area have returned to normal.

And just to show you how far out of it I was yesterday, I took two 2-hour naps, first one from 12:00 to 14:00, second from 15:00-17:00. Even after the second nap, I still couldn't play Spore, I kept hitting the wrong keys, turning off my ship's auto-turret instead of hitting "Rally Call" (which is what I meant to hit) so I couldn't really conquer any worlds.

Oh, and I do regularly take Ibuprofen in either 250mg or 500mg dosages, to control headaches and girl-pains (when I get them). The dentist gave me 800mg ibuprofen pillz. Holy shitkabobs, this shit is strong. My neurology can't even handle it, the dosage is so strong. Ibuprofen works by acting as a neuro-inhibitor to kill pain signals. The 800mg dosage is so strong, it somewhat puts me out of it and I have a foggy mind as a result (more foggy than just the presence of testosterone due to the lack of spiro).

When I got home, I was placed in the sofa in front of the TV downstairs. I tried to stand up, and nearly toppled over. Had to wait just a little bit before I could walk again.

There is some bad news to this, though. One of my wisdom teeth shattered during its extraction, and the surgeon decided not to get one last piece of it because he was afraid it would drive itself deeper into my gums, and perhaps strike the mandible nerve (which the wisdom teeth were dangerously close to). So I still have a bit in there that still needs to come out, but I'll leave that for a more experienced surgeon with better tools.
