Carlos interviewed with a company the other day that does luggage for the airport here in Orlando and also at Disney world.
I spoke with the guy who interviewed him, and he said that there might be a few positions opening this week..... and said that Carlos was on the list for them.
I'm hoping this means that he'll be starting work soon. It would take SOOOO much pressure off if he gets this job.
In other news, My mom and stepdad are visiting in 2 weeks. The time's going to fly by! Nothing's on the agenda yet, but we might go to Leu Gardens or Animal Kingdom. Also, because my stepdad's this raging Yankees fan (ok, me too...), we're probably going to take in a game in Tampa. Oooh.. I should talk to them about Merritt Island, too. I think they'd like it there.
Unfortunately, since my sister just took this amazing trip to Mexico last month, she won't be able to make it down.... we'll probably end up visiting there soon enough though.
I suppose that's about it for an update. I've been working one extra shift a week, so I've been crazy tired.
Time for bed.

PS- 2 last things that really, really need to go away:
1. The lady that does Appliance Direct commercials. I'm afraid if I stepped foot in the place, she'd accost me. It would be a blessing upon all mankind for this woman to lose her voice.
2. Scott and Erica together on the morning show of WOMX Mix 105.1. I'm cool with Scott, he's not so bad. But Erica? Dude, the lady argued with Scott because the temperature he reported on the radio was one degree different than the sign at the bank said on her way in!! Shut up for a bit, both of you, and please just play the awesome music your station plays the rest of the day. And by the way, though I am a fan of the container store, I really, *really* could care less if the DJ playing my morning music does. Thank you.
