I've kind of forgotten that you're sort of supposed to want to get into the TARDIS and go on a mad adventure with the Doctor, but I'm feeling it again. Ten was too scary. I'd be all, "I don't care we're on Mars. You can just leave me here, thanks." But with Eleven, I remember why you're supposed to imagine yourself on these adventures. (I've also been really bored at work, so when I'm on hold, it's nice to imagine work being interrupted by aliens.)

I could not for the life of me get the last part of the two-parter to work, so I got right into Vampires of Venice, and other than missing the kiss, I guess I didn't miss too much.

Things I enjoyed:

(DOCTOR, jumping out of the cake:) Your fiancée kissed me!
(*Awkward pause*)
DOCTOR: You know when you think something in your head and it sounds really good...

DOCTOR: All right. I'll be your dad.
AMY: My dad? You look about nine!
(Which is pretty much what we all said when he got cast, even though he's still a year older than me.)

I wonder what the cracks are all about. It doesn't look good, that's for sure.

I am really looking forward to next week. Alternate universe? So cool!

*I turned in my application for college, and sent off for my transcript, and I can't register for classes until my transcript comes in, and I looked on the website and there are three seats available for the class I want to take, and AAUGH! If I don't hear back from my former school, I'll call and ask politely if they've received my request. Heh.

*Wow, the Conservatives got voted in, didn't they? From what I'd heard lately about Gordon Brown, I'm not surprised. But still. Kind of sad, in a way.

*Yeah, I need to be less stressed. I keep snapping at people for no reason.
