Wow. Is all I have to say. I'm not getting my hopes up for the finale because my hopes have been dashed before, but I really enjoyed the lead-in. Good pace, John Simm, Bernard Cribbons, John Simm, Donna came back, and did I mention John Simm. Anywayz. Despite my new region-free DVD player, I don't think I'll be watching Life On Mars today. No sirree.

Interesting to see that Donna has a few flashes now and then of her past. I don't think the Doctor is very good at this re-con thing. So I say, let's not even do it and move on. Plus, they all end up remembering anyway, so what's the point???

It's also really sad to think that this is the Doctor's last episode. He's my Doctor. Sniff. I hear the first one is always the hardest. (I've seen others, but not 'live'.)

Hahaha at Obama turning into the Master. Well, everyone did. But it was funny all the same.

And Donna is remembering. From the preview it doesn't look like she has any ill effects, but it'll be interesting to see what happens. Bring on next week.

*Gah. The battery in the fire alarm appears to be dying. I did not sleep well last night as you might imagine. I'll go down to the office and see if we can't get a maintenance request in. It's driving me crazy. Does the beep have to be that high pitched?

*The boy got me a region-free DVD player for Christmas. When we tested it out I made him watch my Princess Korean drama, lol. I don't think he was a fan. The DVD is funny. I got it in Singapore, so it's targeted to the Chinese audience. Basically the subtitles went from Korean to Mandarin to English. It's not unusual to read "You be keeping the key, yes?" Amusing. There were only a few parts that were literally lost in translation.

*A bunch of us are going to see Sherlock Holmes tonight. Yay!
