Scary mask, bro
*My roommate texted me the other day to ask if I wouldn't mind if we hosted a Halloween party this year. Sure, why not, I thought. It'd be fun! And then I was like, "Oh, no, who can I dress up as?" I think I'm gonna go as Robin Sparkles. I'm going to get a jean jacket and some glitter and write "Robin Sparkles". And yesterday I had a lot of fun buying bracelets and necklaces, even though I realize now she doesn't wear that many. No one's gonna get it, but it'll amuse me at any rate.
*I got my flu shot on Friday! All week they'd told us it was postponed so I wasn't expecting to get one, and then yesterday afternoon they passed out the waivers and told us to get in that room, and then we got poked, and... ouch. It was literally just like that. My arm's all sore. Heh.
*I got to see The Invention of Lying, with Ricky Gervais. Hilarious. I approved.
*Oh, and I found a copy of Castle's book Heat Wave. Earlier this week we went to Books-A-Million and asked the employee about it and she didn't look happy about helping us. She typed 'Castle' into her computer and said, really annoyed, "I see something about building castles, historic castles, chess, nothing 'Richard Castle'." I said, "Well, the book is called Heat Wave." She said, "Again, I see something about building castles..." She flat out refused to type in 'Heat Wave'! And then on Friday we walked into Barnes And Noble and it was right in the front entrance!
*It's 51 degrees. Yeah, I realize that's not that cold but since I've moved to the south it's downright freezing. I keep wondering when the snow's gonna show up. Heh.
