(no subject)
The Internet exploded when I got back from work. I know why, though, because I clicked on some links, and also because Twitter's trending topics list. Tomorrow everything will be okay, though. I hope.
Also, my roommate probably thinks I lost it. She got home from work the precise moment I yelled, "HE'S AN ALIEN!" in regards to Evil!LeoMcGarry. I asked her about it later and she didn't deny she'd heard it. Whoops.
*Also, and this has nothing to do with anything, but that was really unexpected Naked Jack. Gwen's expression kind of matched mine. Also, "They're allowed to show that on TV? I live in the wrong country."
*Lois is awesome. She needs to be the Doctor's next companion. Makes me sad Ten won't be around, because Ten needs Lois. That's my theory and I'm sticking to it. I need lots of Lois and Ten fic. "I certainly wasn't expecting to commit treason on my second day!" She rocks so much.
*Gwen was fabulous. She really, really was. And Ianto driving the bulldozer? So cool! I loved him dropping the cement block even while unsure how to work the thing. Great work, Ianto. Speaking of cement blocks, that woman who works for the Minister is SO. FREAKING CREEPY. I kept telling Gwen to shoot her, but she wouldn't listen.
*I also forgot to mention, while reviewing part one, I had a totally smug smart moment while watching the first episode. When the kids chanted for the second time, I started to obsess about the language issue. I wondered how the aliens were communicating in English, and if they had a translator like the TARDIS and if every kid on Earth was speaking English or if it was in their native tongue, and then Gwen said "They're all speaking English!" I can be so smart.
*I still really like Ianto's sister, and his brother-in-law isn't so bad, either. I liked him acting all crazy around the agents so she could escape to the park undetected.
*I never need to see Jack all burned again, either. When the Security Person said, "He'd be much better off dead," all I could think of was, YOU THINK?! Sheesh!
