I'm trying to download the soundtrack from Rent on my computer since I bought it on iTunes. I started at about 1:30. It's freaking 4:05 now. We're on song 15 out of 29. Hmmm. Hmmm, I tell you.
Oh, and I signed up to do a playwriting workshop. We meet Saturdays, once a month, which should be nice. Playwriting is a medium I haven't quite gotten yet, I love the theater and how the dialogue just sort of washes over you, and I'd like to have advice as to how to do that. In many ways, I almost think writing a screenplay would be easier-- in screenplays you aren't necessarily limited spacially. If you're writing for a theater, you have to take a large rectangle and make the audience believe that it's reality for two hours or whatever. I'll only be writing short plays during the workshop, but it's as good a place as any to start, right?
Well, I gotta go and play some Mozart. At least the music isn't that hard, which contrasts nicely with the impossibleness of the Tchiakowsy we're also playing.
