Wow
Where has Rent BEEN my entire life?! I always thought it was probably overrated since everyone I know and their cousin was like, "It's the best musical ever! eleventy!" but I finally sucked it up and rented it yesterday and good lord. Amazing. I don't think I've ever cried while watching a musical before. I'm obsessed with Phantom of the Opera purely for Michael Crawford; I loveEvita for its music; I love Chicago because it's cool, but this is just amazing. I love the characters, the music, the tone, everything. (Plus, you know a movie's gonna be good if it takes place on your birthday.) This is unfortunate for me, because I've added yet another Broadway musical I want to see on stage.
Also, to add to coolness, I discovered Footloose yesterday. That movie is possibly the coolest thing ever.
Oh, and I finally got a work study job! I train tonight for two hours. Ewww.
Well, I've got to go down to the library and print out my response papers for my Criminal Justice class. Wheee!!!
