I had my interview on tuesday, and I think it went really well because it was more like we were having a conversation than him drilling me for the right answers. I think that is always a good sign. He also told me that he would definately consider me for the position, however the people at HR are concerned about my age, and the fact that I have been with the company for very long...AND the fact that I haven't been a department specialist. With that against me...my district manager was talking to some of the other managers in my district, and they all said they would take me to their stores in a heartbeat. It says a lot when people in power say things like that so hopefully I get the position...if I don't I will still get promoted to department specialist...which is the promotion I was up for in the first place...either way it means more money...which means happiness( I don't care what anyone else says...it does make life happier.)
Albuquerque Pride is on Saturday, which I'm looking forward to with SOME apprehention. I go every year...and I have fun...but we all know that you can't get that many lesbians in an enclosed area without a little dyke drama...you run into ex's...you get hit on and suddenly your girlfriend thinks it's your fault. shit like that...so as long as I don't see my ex who has been re-names as the BEAST-O-Burden there should be no problem.
other than that I had three cups of coffee this morning, and I feel like i was up doing cocaine all night.
