Camera can only get about 10 ft across the yard before he can't get it any farther. The entire line that he can cover is a disaster so he assumes the rest of it will be also - basically everything that hasn't been replaced needs to be ( Read more... )

The contractor has been beyond kind. We really like him and feel like he sincerely cares. After that first job where he replaced that first section & put in a clean-out, he actually walked me around the house and pointed out a few other things that he had noticed. Wanting to share his wisdom since we are new homeowners, woefully ignorant, and remind him of his kids. lol Most of it was stuff our inspector had already pointed it (gutters are squished at the bottom so don't direct water away properly, flowerbeds are too high and prevent snow from melting away from house, foundation was laid too big so eventually we need mudjacking to fix). But it was so nice of him to point out. It's not even stuff he does or could even recommend names for so he wasn't trying to drum up business for himself or any friends. Just looking out for us. :)

That's made this a little easier. Since we trust him, we don't feel as much like we are being played, you know?

As for Munchkin, she's been pretty much loving it. Hotels have pools so she gets to swim every night. We don't have access to a refrigerator unless I want to drive across town, up the hill, and run into the house - so she's been getting lunchables for her lunch box every day. Oh, and we got rid of Dish over the summer so she's soaking up access to the Disney channel. Then she went and lost two teeth so that meant two gifts from the tooth-fairy last night. She's definitely in kid heaven. :)
