Who Knows Where the Time Goes?
To my great surprise, I received an email recently congratulating me on being part of LiveJournal for 19 years.
I wasn't sure LiveJournal still existed, and was even more surprised to find everything I'd done here back in 2008. That seems a lifetime ago--15 years.
Did I not think I had anything more to say? Did life just get too much and I did not find the time to come through here and post comments, share stories? Did I find another platform?
Well, yes and no.
There are two blogs out there, on Wordpress, that haven't been touched in a number of years, and I think that's where I went to when I noticed that more and more of my friends here on LiveJournal were falling by the wayside, drawn in more by Facebook, and Twitter, and now probably TikTok.
I, too, have things to say on all of those platforms.
But there's always been something special about LiveJournal so maybe it's time to come back. At least we can see what we can do here.
Who knows what the next 19 years will bring?
