End of a great era
Just watched the latest trailer of Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows. Got goosebumps. Excited that another movie is coming up. Not too excited that it'll come in TWO parts and a year apart in between!!! Then again, for the first time, I'll take it. Just because I think its a wise decision. Rather than having to shorten the story because well, just look at the thickness of the book. You'll kill a robber with that book! hahahahaha
So bitter sweet though. So looking forward to it. And yet, I kinda dont want to because its officially mean its the end if this great great GREAT journey of Harry Potter phenomenon. Although I was late to join the fandom, became a fan when the 3rd book already availabe, I've became a die hard fan non the less.
Still got goosebumps rewatching the trailer... Its ending. IT IS ENDING T_____T if nothing else bring me to realization its ending... that scene that has Hogwarts in ruin does hikshikshiks
I love the books. LOVE the books. And I love the movie too. Another great imagination come to live. Plus, the chemistry between The Trio is there. And no, I stop comparing between books & movies long time ago. Ever since they make a mess on John Grisham's The Pelican Brief, I've given up the expectation of a movie will compliment the book because THEY WILL NEVER BE THE SAME! That is why, when I know a Harry Potter movie is coming out, I stopped reading that particular book months before, even years. So I'll be able to forget the details of the book and just enjoy the movie for what it is. A great adventure movie.
Feel like reading the book again though after watching the trailer, but I won't! :D Already reread like 4 times since the day the book came out, enough... right? hahahahaha *sigh* Still remember how hard I cried when reading HBP on Dumbledore's death. Didn't cry on book 7 but the adventure was great. And as Ron & Hermione's fan, book seven is the BEST! ^________^
Speaking of pairs. I was LJ walking, for fanfic, and stumble upon a community for Draco & Ginny! And I was like... WHAT??? These fans are just getting off of it or what, I thought. Draco? And Ginny? I've never heard such a thing. So then I browse browse and started reading one story and a few days later bam!!!! I'm a new fan of the Draco & Ginny pair! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Kinda jealous though... trying to look for Ron & Hermione ff, but so far I haven't found anything that as good as those D&G fanfics. I think this is kinda a way for I don't know... forgetting that HP is ended? *shrugg* Coz some of these D&G stories written in the timeline after the "second war" (Harry vs Voldie). And it seems hard to believe I know but, somehow I get it how these two very unlikely characters can be "together". Its just another classic of enemy turn lovers, or the opposite attracts etc etc
I still have yet to sort out my brain that Draco is not Tom Felton. Though sometimes its kinda hard LOL
I follow most of HP casts' twitters (all the Weasleys siblings got twitter acc, including the actor that play percy. shame that The Trio hasnt got any hikshiks) And Tom's tweets a few days ago manages to bring most fans to tears. He was tweeting that its officially his last day being Draco Malfoy, and i guess it hit home for the fans. It is coming to end isn't it.... I'm sad.
Anyways, I'm blabbing again LOL. Gotta go now.
Woot! Can't wait for November! Aaand NARNIA's 3rd installment will be on December! wheee~~~ ichaa don't forget our date! LOL
