Well, I don't know if any books I've read in the last couple of years have been "great."

I've read some really good new ones, but nothing that has become an instant classic.  Those really good ones have been:

Love, Lucy
Wonderful Tonight
Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe
Good Omens
Garden Spells

And the really good rereads I've read lately are:

The Secret Gardnen
World War Z
Go Ask Alice
