Whining ahead
Day 2 of staying home from work. My loving DH caught something 10 days ago and we have been fighting it ever since. It the sort of thing that just saps your energy and you do a bit of coughing. Not bad enough to stop doing your normal stuff.....until 2 days ago. Good grief! I'm really tired of it! Enough already.
Even Mr. Nicholas has a touch of it. Nothing more pathetic than a baby with a runny nose.
Despite not feeling great, we worked quite a bit in the backyard over the weekend. It's starting to come together. Yeah!! DH installed a drip irrigation system last year in the front yard and last weekend he completed the back yard. I LOVE it! Just turn one little knob and the flowers all get a drink. Still have to water the grass separate, but DH is trying to come up with a clever plan for that also.
My FIL is scheduled for open heart surgery on July 2nd. He is going to have a triple bypass and a valve replacement. YIKES! He will be in the hospital for about a week. FIL is very excited....he can't wait to get the whole thing over with. I think that sounds a bit like denial to me, but guess that's better than terror. MIL on the other hand is very nervous. Keep them in your prayers.
