Shopping
Mom and I went to the Nordstrom's Half Yearly Sale. Found a few good things.. but not as much as I thought I would. Guess that's probably a good thing. Found some nice new summer shoes and a fab green wind breaker. I'll look great on the boat in the windbreaker since we've decided to paint the top decking green. Yep, must coordinate my fashion with the new boat. LOL
DH is going to take Friday off so we're going to have a 3 day weekend as a family. The nice thing is with us finishing the beauty bark last weekend, we don't have any big fat yard projects hanging over our heads. Probably will spend a lot of time working on the boat. We want to get as far as we can in the next week. We are going to go the Pelican club picnic on the 17th and will take the boat with us. We won't be sailing, but will get some good advice from the guy the built it in the first place. Everyone seems excited to see it again and see what kind of condition it's in.
Had our year end choir party tonight. We always have so much fun at choir, it's almost a shame that we don't meet over the summer. Lot's of good food and ton's of laughter. I made carrot cake for dessert and it's almost completely gone already. There's nothing like a dessert that has cream cheese frosting!
