Update on the HoneyCat
Well, he was doing really well. He had gained back about 1/2 a pound over the last couple of weeks. However, in the last 4-5 days even with the appetite stimulant he was refusing to eat. I talked to my vet today and they gave me a couple of choices. We could either try what we had done previously (fluids, injections for antinausea and steroid for the asthma) or we could go have an ultrasound and see an internist. They were concerned that it's something more than pancreatitis and that there might be neoplasia in the stomach lining or something like that. We have an appointment thursday morning at NW Vet Specialists to see an internist and probably have an ultrasound.
