A Good Weekend!
So, it's the end of my 3 day weekend. I had a pretty good one. I am having a quick snack before bed as I didn't get my drugs until way after I had dinner and after running around the grocery store I am feeling a bit woobly.
It ended pretty well with dinner at New Seasons and a trip to a sale at Craft Warehouse with Deana, and of course being able to see Jason and the kids as well. :) We just got home from the grocery store.
They're saying that this year will be another year like the Snowpocalypse year of 08/09 where we got like 5 feet of snow and the city shut down and I was house bound. It was icky. So, I am slowly piling up some food in case we get snowed in again. So, we got some canned beans and tomatoes to make chili and other veggies and canned fruit that will keep. We got pork and beef and we already have chicken in the freezer. I will be getting ground beef again soon too. We don't eat a lot of meat but it is part of our diet. :D We already have pasta and rice and stuff but I am just slowly getting some extra in our pantry in case we do end up snowed in in December/January. I also got some bottles of Martinelli's cider for Thanksgiving and the stuff to make lemon dessert. :)
Of course, since I am trying to be ready for it- there won't be a horrible snow storm... but I am kinda okay with that.
