winter is pretty much here!

I guess it's really fall. We're having our first real kinda wintery storm. It's really cold and wet. They're saying it's a La Nina year, and the last one we had was 08/09 and that was the year that almost killed Lauran and we were buried in snow. I have plans of making sure we have extra foodstuffs in the house that will keep. That way we don't have a repeat of the last time we were housebound for a long time.

In other world news, I made pumpkin bread tonight for the potluck tomorrow! Yay punkin bread! My house smells like spices and bread!
