Just making it in!
Well, my two days off are done now. I didn't get as much done as I wanted, but oh well. I have a three day weekend this week. :)
So, Matt, Lauran and I all went to Wal-Mart tonight to buy something random and to get money back for laundry money. Lauran and I got new toothbrushes, we also wandered around the store for a bit. The 2 pack of toothbrushes cost about $6. When you get cash back at Wal-Mart you have to get it in $20s. I got $20 back even though I only needed $10 for laundry. I went up to the customer service counter and they paged for a manager to come and give me quarters. She was very distracted and took my $20 and gave me $10 in quarters and what I thought was $10 in $5s. Turns out that she gave me $15 in $5s, I discovered after we were back in the car. So, my toothbrushes cost me a buck and change, really. I spent $26.88 and was given $25.
I feel kinda bad and if it had been a smaller shop or almost any place but Wal-Mart I probably would have given the money back. But, it was pouring down rain and it was only $5 and with the ladies in front of us buying several hundred dollars worth of canned chili and canned corn, I figure they can deal with the loss.
