Stuff and Things!

Alright! Sorry I have been neglecting you, oh dear LJ... let me make up for it all!

Let us start with this: I have my 9 and 11 month review a little over a week ago and I passed with flying colors. I have moved up and gotten top marks in all of my areas. Which is awesome. On the 23rd I will have passed my probation, assuming I am not let go on that day. I can't see it happening, but you never know.

Last week was pretty up and down. It started out good and strong! It went severely downhill from there. Friday I covered the last hour on the front counter for a coworker. When I went to till out and balance, the drawer was short $100 in cash. I panicked. We couldn't find the error. I wrote panicked emails to my supervisor. I came to find out on monday that it was a 100$ copy fee error and that everything was fine. Cyndi also sang "put the lime in the coconut" into my voicemail. It was quite surreal...

My dad also called on Sunday and had my whole family sing me happy birthday. Which was really sweet. I called and thanked them and then told my dad that my birthday was this weekend. :D He thought it was pretty funny.

I had some other work drama as well, but I am hopeful that it will all end up sorting itself out.

My birthday is this coming saturday, which is awesome. I am going to be 28. Woo! My mom gave me moneys for an air conditioner for our bedroom (YAY! I didn't melt, die or suffer from heat insomnia during the mini heat wave!) and my dad gave me money to go clothes shopping! Holy cow did I make out like a bandit! I went shopping and I got a pair of jeans, 2 pairs of capris, 1 pair of shorts, 4 shirts, 1 dress, 1 pair of flip flops and 2 bras. I spent about $180. NOT BAD if I do say so myself! I needed some new stuff from work and I had burned through some of my older pairs of jeans in the last couple of months and so now I have some cute stuff to wear and that is all to the good!

One of my birthday gifts from Lauran was a very nice pair of shears to use on my bonsai tree (and the rest of the plants I have). Today we trimmed the bonsai's leaves and then pulled out the root ball and trimmed and repotted it as well and replaced the rock covering it. It was my first time doing this, so I am hoping it doesn't die. We were pretty conservative in the trimming. The tree is about 7-8 years old, so it's not the first go around in the root ball trimming department for it. Let me just say that the shears/scissors are SO SHARP! They're pratically razors and it cuts just like buttah. Very awesome.

Tomorrow is BBQ day at the shelter, so I am excited. I was going to make cheese salsa, but I am too tired. Just gonna grab some lemonade on the way to work instead. Everybody forgot drinks last time.

Saturday is my birthday. I am going to work and then go to a BBQ at Jason and Deana's house and see John and the boys and J&D and their kids. I am excited!

I have a doctor's appointment on monday with an OB/GYN to see if I can get my uterus to stop being retarded. I am probably going to have to have a D&C, which will suck, but hopefully once we scrape it clean it will go back to being normal and the 3 month long period will stop. I had a short reprieve but the hormones aren't working anymore.

Oh, not only am I bleeding insanely, my body is craving BABIES like nobodies business. Retarded body.

I am also back to feeling really tired and out of it all the time. It sucks.
