good weekend!
So, we decided to go to Seattle yesterday and have a day to ourselves. We went to the Woodland Park Zoo. It was terrific! We got to see the baby snow mews! They are 14 weeks old and the most cutest thing EVAR. We spent a little over 6 hours at the zoo, it was really great. It was a beautiful day.
We stopped in Sumner to see my family and have dinner with them. It was really nice to sit and see Nana and Auntie Jo. Lauran spent some quality man time out with the menfolks. We had pizza and caught up and then talked about movie stars. Always watching TV in that house...
It was a long drive home, but we made it. We were supposed to be more productive today, but neither of us has had the ability to be proactive. We had a long talk about the fight we had on the drive home and I made sausage biscuits gravy for breakfast, we went to Wal-Mart for some things and then home for afternoon sex and we've been watching Weeds and I made cornish game hen and green beans for dinner. Not a bad day, really. :) I am stiff and sore from yesterday's 6 hour walk, but it was really great. :)
