to the rescue
Okay. I had a really great day. I spent most of it at Jason and Deana's hanging out with Deana and the kids. Had dinner with them, watched/slept through some Mythbusters. Then went and picked Lauran up at work and headed to the FarmHouse for some fantastic karaoke. We totally rocked "Everyone's a little bit racist". It was... horrible, but awesome. Hung out with Matt and Gwen and all of the other awesome people.
I will be filing for unemployment tomorrow. I need to get all of my paperwork together for it. I can apply online! Which is good! I have 2 interviews on monday. Still waiting to hear back from netflix.
If anybody is interested in commissioning me, now would be a great time. I will be working on alot of art this weekend after we get the house cleaned up. :)
Now that the initial shock is over, I can start to move on and see if I can't pick up the peices. I am hoping to get a job where I am better paid and maybe one where I care a little less. With vet stuff I care a lot about the patients. Maybe it's not such a bad idea to do something a little less personal. I am depressed, but I am going to be okay.
My mouth hurts alot, but it's not TOO bad. I hadn't taken a vicodin since early wednesday morning. I needed one tonight after all the talking/eating/singing and being in the smokey bar.
