(no subject)
Anniversary was really great. We got up "early", even though I had a real hard time sleeping. I was really worked up over work stuff. We got dressed and headed out to Downtown. We went to Lush for new soaps, as we were completely out! :O We got some Spice Spiral and Snowcake or something like that. The spice one smells like cinnamon and spices and the snow cake one smells like almonds and feels SO good on the skin. Spice spirals also has a bit of a tooth to it, so it is nice as a scrub too. :D Happy skin!
Then to downtown, parked on Park street and headed up to the McMenamins Annex bar and hung out with Kehli. She made us drinks for our anniversary. She made me a grapefruit drop. It was exquisite. I had two of them. Lauran had a whiskey sour and a gin and pineapple juice. She made a restaurant recommendation so we took our drunk asses up about 10 blocks. Found a different place, because we were both tipsy and couldn't remember the name of the restaurant. We ate at Kingstons or something like that. The food was okay. Then walked back down, waving to Kehli on the way and walked around Powells for like an hour. All of the floors, all of the areas. I found some good book deals! I spent 16$ and I got Fargo Rock City by Chuck Klosterman, Nicholas and Alexandra by Robert MAssie and Voices from Chernobyl by Svetlana Alexeivich.
We stopped by Fred Meyers on the way home for milk and bread and got white chocolate/macadamia nut cookies for dessert. Came home and watched the new Heroes and House MD and then went to bed. :)
All in all, a really great day and evening. <3
I am going in for my tooth extraction in a little bit. I am nervous.
