Thanks for Nothing Hotmail.
*sigh* I've already sent out an email but I figured I'd better to this too.
My Hotmail email account has been hacked. Hotmail promised me otherwise and in my blind panic hoping that I could get into contact with everyone before they opened the fake email from me, I accepted it and ran off to write a warning email. After I sent it, it occurred to me that my Hotmail account had to have been hacked because it was contacts in my Hotmail contact list emailing me and asking why I was sending them a link to a Viagra site.
So yeah, definitely hacked.
That being said, I've changed my password for my Hotmail account and hopefully no one should be getting any weird emails from me in the future but if you do get one that you're not sure on, just remember that I will type something in the body of any email from me besides a link AND if I'm sending a link I will sign my email either Rhyanne or Rhy.
On the plus side, I know it's not my computer that was hacked/got a virus/malewear, I've run 3 different deep scans - 2 online that I trust and my anti-virus and they have all come up clean. So yay there.
