Ordo Legacy 2.2
My Birthday was at the beginning of this month. As a present, Jace ever-so-kindly got me Sims 2: Freetime. (I think he just wanted to see my Sims go nuts.) I decided to use the Ordos as my guinea pig family.
Now in widescreen!
This is what greeted me upon loading my game...
In other news... Helena's gypsy look was starting to drive me nuts.
So...
MAKEOVER!!!

The robber stripes are in honor of her father.
Helena and Carid also go new rooms because, well, I don't know what
I had been thinking before...
Helena enjoys her new quilt.
Canderous continues to type, type, type at that novel I don't think he'll ever finish.
Well, okay random person who just popped in!
Canderous: Uh... sure... How did you get this number again?
Canderous and Bastila got a sweet new ride!
Carid decides to try out the Science Hobby and tend to an ant farm.
Only trouble is, he forgot the ants...
Bastila, meanwhile, goes off to make dinner:
Bastila: Uh... okay...
After dinner, Bastila went outside:
I wonder if they'll name the star "Lehon"...
Helena also decides to try out the Science Hobby and attempts to collect
bugs... something I'm sure her mother will no doubt approve of.
Helena: Awww... No bugs...

These people are scary stalkers...
Time to find a hobby for Canderous...

Restoring old cars! That's a manly, Mandalorian hobby, right?
Looks like this old junker will keep him busy for a while.
Canderous: Face shield? Mandalorians don't need no stinkin' face shields!
Canderous: Are you people camped outside our house?
(BTW, Helena won the spelling bee. Yay!)
I remodeled the den into the Hobby Room, and moved the compy
to the living room.
Bastila tried out the new sewing machine and made three pot holders
on her first attempt!
Canderous tries the Arts and Crafts Hobby, too!
Yay! Carid found ants!
I'm all for Helena trying the Cuisine Hobby, provided she doesn't turn into
a firebug like her father...
Carid: You're... watching... me? MOM!!!!!!!
Science and Cuisine were both busts for Helena, so she tries the Fitness Hobby.
Hooray! One Sim with a hobby!
Bastila tries Fitness too, but she really only wanted to wear the cool outfit.
I thanked my guinea pig family by giving them a new hot tub.
They put it to good use.
Helena's attempting to become a Plant Sim while Bastila and Canderous, uh...
take turns doing handstands... yeah... that's it... handstands...
After Christening the new hot tub, Bastila takes the car out for a spin.
She's decided that Cuisine is going to be her new hobby, and wants to
try out different food in town.
First, she goes to the grocery store.
Hey, it's Jack!
Swingin': Ur doin' it rong!
After the grocery store, it's off to a local eatery:
Bastila: Money...? What's that?
Bastila: Hmmm... Everything on the menu I coulda made at home...
Bastila left that eatery and went to another one. She didn't care for the food
there, either...
So she went home and searched for new recipes.
Final Fantasy Victory Music! Now!
And Canderous is still painting...

Yes, go sew yourself some gizka pillows. That'll keep you outta trouble.

Ever since figuring out how an ant farm works, Carid's been addicted.
Carid: Don't mess with Mandalorians, you little bugs! We'll squish you!

Canderous didn't attend because it would have meant he'd have to stop painting.

After failing to attend his son's birthday party, Canderous headed out
to that secret art studio. First thing he did was run to the potter's wheel:
Canderous made a plate! Look how happy he is!
Then it was off to try the drawing board.
Looks like he's sketching a Basilisk War Droid blue print...
Well... at least he's enthusiastic about something...
Canderous raced home and framed his blue print.
Then he blogged.
Now, I know the man's excited, but I tried to talk him out of picking Arts and Crafts
as his main hobby.
See? I filled his house with paintings of the manly men he sounds like,
the rough and tough think-with-their-balls men.
And what is he doing? He's sewing more pot holders.
Alyse has come to visit, yay!
Alyse: We don't eat tomato soup on my home planet--I mean, yes! I love soup!
Do the Ordos NOT have locks on their doors?!
Canderous: Happy trees need little friends. Let's give this happy tree a little
bush for a friend, yes... We'll put him... oh, right over here...
Yay, it's Carli's son MacKenzie!
MacKenzie: I'm finally in a legacy update!
