Spin that dradle ya Jew!
So, since I'm not going to school tomorrow, I shall update you on my life and the glory of being a total geek :)
We left for Corpus on Wednesday night for Thespian Festival and such. Bus ride was long and I tried to sleep most of the time. It was pretty much insane because we got there at like 8 or 8:30, then stayed in our hotel for a little bit, then went straight to do our IEs (individual events). We got there and saw our first show, which was Steel Magnolias, and pretty much sucked. There was like 2 or 3 good actresses, and the rest were horrible. Then we did our events and I did my whore business. I got a couple of gasps, which made me laugh, and some girl came up to me afterwards and told me that I did a really good job (and she was a senior which was neat). After all of the IEs, we find out the Rico broke the escalator (which really he just jumped at the top, and it was a total freak accident). But he had to go to the Thespian court and have some trial. His punishment was that he had to help with security all day long, tehe. Then we saw some more plays, which they sucked too, and went back to the hotel and to bed.
Friday we watched this really weird play in the morning. It was kinda absurd ism meets dramedy?? It had one of the best lines ever though. I thought it was pretty good, but long. But the whole point of dicussing it was that they got away with all kinds of crap. They could say shit, god damn, bitch, bastard, and anything else vulgar. And it was like that with all of the shows. It made me mad because we can't even hell in our show without everyone jumping down our throats. I HATE doing theatre in a town that's so conservative you can't even do a show talking about liking another man's wife or being pregnant and liking another guy.......blefjewfl! but anyways, the cewl thing was we did this workshop in the afternoon for hip hop dancing. It was soooooo much fun, and proves that I cannot dance to save my life. We had fun though. Then at the hotel Natalie and I were going through every floor searching for some cute guys, and we found some who had just gotten out of the pool......that was fun ;)
Saturday's cewlest thing was the Afro-centric dance class we took with Mama Yeye. That class was amazing. We did different dances and she was so funny and good and it was just great. It was a good spiritual thing too, and it made me want to do yoga or something, lol. We watched some more plays, walked around, played freeze tag with all these different schools, then we saw the last main stage play, which was the cheesiest play ever. Most of the main stage shows were pretty bad. But we find out afterwards that Conoley and Eli made Nationals, which is awesome!! And then we cheered really loud for Matt when he was officially on the state board.
Overall it was so much fun, a lot of drama, but really fun. And now, for Natalie, some funny moments:

Natalie: "Yeah, cause that's the only thing he'll be riding tonight...."

"You owder two bwuebewwy muffin?"
"Yes sir, I am a hip hopist!"
yeah for those, now it's off to bed so I can catch up on some lost sleep and try and do homework tomorrow, night!
