The red of Morgana’s blood against the marble white floor of the throne room makes Merlin sick, but he doesn’t stop. His fury drives him on.
He squeezes his fist tighter and the woman clutches her chest in pain, gasping for air.
Merlin, please…
He’s deaf to Gwen’s pleads. The woman was guilty. It was her fault; her crime to pay for.
You should’ve never killed my king.
Merlin’s eyes burn gold and red and Morgana falls to the ground, unmoving.
