I spent as much time as possible last week, at the Santa Cruz Film Festival. I saw many interesting films in various forms. I got to meet some of the actors and directors involved with some of the featured projects. It was very illuminating. One of my favs was a documentary about Sarah Gerhardt, the first woman to surf Mavericks in Half Moon Bay.

i love stories like that, where the people telling them remember the people when they were little kids or younger and it like shows how much theyve grown... especially when its about surfing.

one day.. in the far future haha.. i wanna surf mavericks..... but im a chicken =X haha and normally im the only girl out with balls, all the other girls go for the babies

i just really love the feeling of a powerful big wave right behind me while im standing on a srfboard, its just like intense when u can hear the rumbling and all.... i know u know what i mean, only surfers do =P
