It was so much fun to read all of your theories :) Thanks for indulging me! Alright, let's see what Cooper has to say when Emily confronts him about Rose. Maybe he'll tell her where she is.

Dang, so now she is dead - I was so sure that she got away. What I really liked about this chapter is how creepy you have made this unsub. Emily = protector = damm cute!

Isn't it great to see Emily regain the upper hand? I love when antagonizes Unsubs! Should have more of that on the show.

even though i theorized that she'd be dead, it still surprised me to know that Gerald really did kill his sister. and he picked brunettes to remind him of his sister, and he did not kill them so they will relieve the horror of seeing their loved ones getting tortured over and over again. another theory unraveled! you really are spinning us into Cooper's case, ladyrashida. and it just keep getting better and better. :D

as i said, it is almost mind-boggling how much Cooper can see through Emily's mask, even if her mask isn't as impenetrable as it usually is. that's the only thing that i admire about him. :P and protective Emily for the win! i love how she gets all Hero Emily with the victims and the people she cares about. i hope that you'll exploit that side of her in the following chapters? ;)

Well the fact that he doesn't kill the brunettes so that they would relive the trauma over and over isn't new and it certainly isn't explained by the fact that he may or may not have killed his sister. No jumping to conclusions, Missy :)

My crystal ball tells me that there will be a time when you wish Emily wasn't quite as protective. We'll see if it's right.

Oh and don't be so formal, name's Rashida.

I'm now not sure that the sister is dead, despite what Emily & Reid think. Cooper talks about her in the past tense, but "She’s gone. You’ll never find her" doesn't necessarily mean that she's dead...Hmmm.

Great update, as ever.

Innocent until proven guilty also counts for serial killers, right? Do you think they'll find her dead or alive before his execution?

Hmm. I think they'll find her alive, but maybe not before the execution.

I´m really enjoying this. Its really well written and I like the progression of Emily's and JJ´s relationship, I don't think they would just fall in to bed after years ether. Quite the creepy unsub you have created there too, cant wait until the next chapter thanks :)

Thank you for commenting and welcome to the party!

And thank you for the high praise! I'd always makes me happy to see that there are people out there who feel the same way about Emily and JJ not rushing into things. There will be none of that here :)

I understand. Child abuse is the most vile crime in my book and I've always wondered why corporal punishment isn't attached to the cases with DNA evidence at least. Let's not get into such serious discussions here though. I promise I won't do anything too graphic.

Hmm, so if Rose really was his first victim, we're still missing the trigger event. Very interesting indeed.

Great job on the Unsub, as usual.

And now what was JJ doing in the meantime?
