I was scared. I was scared that after Amplification you guys might be mad at me because Will was going to show up again and after JJ had told him she loved him, no less. I'm glad to see that some of you forgave me and trusted me not to mess with Emily and JJ's lives.

Well obviously there'll be some messing because otherwise I could just end the ( Read more... )

I'm really hoping, that Emily's dad will come around, I hope he doesn't make his mind up, to not like JJ - if you know what I mean.. And I'm really glad that Lauren is such an awesome person, who stands up for her sister. At the same time that family has been through so much, I mean a sister killing herself, that has gotta be hard on a family. I hope Brad will overcome his shock...

Brad... I'm still working on him, let's put it this way. In the end this story has to stay real, even if things between our ladies are all fluffy and fun. And some people never come around.

Aww. I know and respect that you want to keep the story real. But all my fangirl heart wants is to move the ladies to the land flowing with milk and honey ;)

Hmmmm shucks i really do hope for both our Ladies sake that their family's do come round. BUT if not they will atleast have on another. OOOOOO JJ's Folks still need to be told :-(

Nice chapter though, guess that's how most family's deal with the "coming out"!

I don't think anyone has ever jumped up and said: hurray! and for good reason. You always wish your kids will have an easy life, a good life and with all the hate and fear out there it's simply easiest to be your average heterosexual white christian.

I am late to the party to comment on all of this. First love the story and true to what most have to endure. What is funny for me is that in the last year I have had to come out to people including my parents (again). The best result has been from religious people in my life. It's not easy to be the average white Christian girl when you want to be the average white lesbian. I will agree with you though on what parents want for their kids and it isn't to have to fight for rights and deal with hatred all the time. I wish people would eventually come around but they often don't.

Welcome back! :)

Why did you have to come out to your parents again? It doesn't seem to be something they're likely to forget.
