Lead the Way - Chapter 024 - 4x04 - Paradise

Just to remind you guys, the events since the episode chapter 4x03 - MInimal Loss transpired in just one week. I know for us it was longer, but to Emily and JJ only seven days have gone by. Which leads us to a new week and of course a new case. This is October 20th, 2008 and the same "Manic Monday" I told you about yesterday.

What do you mean "sort of"? She did it. IMHO Emily anywhere is interesting! :D

You know I thought that they did a pretty poor job with Hotch with this storyline. I mean there should have been some follow up. There was fallout for Morgan when the Reaper almost shot him, Reid and his drug problem, JJ shooting someone (and let's not forget the dogs) aso. But him? He just goes poof! and everything is okay next week. But I didn't write a Hotch story, I only focus on Emily and JJ scenes and their POV so I couldn't go as much into it as I would've liked.

*whispers* the next chapter is called: A perfect date. Any suggestions on what that could be?

Hmmm. Dinner, some kissing, some embarrassment from both of them and adorable geekiness from Emily...I can imagine Emily planning a surprise visit to a place JJ loves or something romantic like that.

I'll see what I can do ;) No, seriously, I'm so glad you know I've already written all of this, because otherwise I couldn't claim that this story is mine :D

i so totally laughed out loud with the tidbit about JJ mistaking Real-Emily for Dream-Emily, and i was so damned amused that she had been so bold as to stare *wantonly* at the very much real and very much confused Agent Emily Prentiss. hahaha. :D i can't wait for more, uhm, 'blips' from JJ! :D

and i am also liking the fact that Emily has now gathered her courage to ask JJ out. on dinner. which is clearly a date. yahoo! :D that was a huge progress for them! can't wait for Thursday! but i am guessing that hurdles are still on their way, hmn? after all, it can't be that easy, and we're only at the 24th chapter. :P

i also can't wait to read how you'll write the episode where Reid, Morgan and Rossi stayed at Las Vegas to solve the murder of Reid's childhood friend; when JJ re-introduced Jordan to Emily and Emily's comment of "big shoes to fill in" and "i think JJ may have snared the last viable donor". what must be going on in their heads at that moment? hmn... ;)

You're always getting ahead of yourself, girl. Just try to sit back and relax a little :) What lies ahead is much too complicated for you to guess - at least in the long run. It'll be fun that's all I can say :)

As for the episode you mention. That would be Memoriam, the 7th episode. I didn't like it when I first watched it, but WOW that was one of the best to write! I'll comment on why and everything when we get to that chapter, if you want.

Great update, now we're getting somewhere! Loved Emily so smug now she's worked out JJ has feelings for her and then falling over her words when she finally asked her out. JJ is cute in love, closing her eyes to go to dream-land, something I can embarassingly say I relate too....can't wait to see how this pans out.

I know I took my time getting here, but believe me, it will all make sense eventually. "Pride comes before the fall." Emily should have listened to Cyrus :D But it wasn't that bad a fall, JJ said yes!

And don't be embarrassed. I think we've all been there at some point. And again. And again. And ahem you get my point :D
