For the five people who read this blog*
The brain is still mostly stuck in the grey goo that has been encapsulating it for the last month and a half, however, I am going to try to make some relevant posts today. I was contemplating doing one ginormous post, but realized I really am not that ambitious at this point.
First, for the three of you who may have missed or overlooked them, several chapters of The Roman View have been posted in the interim, so, if you missed them, please go read. sordak would also like some sort of feedback. At this point he might even welcome a "The story sucks." just to know that someone is reading it. For those who read the original incarnation in his blog (links can be found here), he has decided to scrap much of the second part/storyline (Roman Revelations) and bring it more into line with the first story, so - watch this space for announcements.
Next - I have decided that my epitaph** should read "Hey! Look! I have finally managed to lose weight and keep it off!" This is not to be taken as a OMG - Kat's checking out! alarm. I am merely dealing with the inevitable in my normal gallows/morgue/hospital humor in my usual way. Ummm, may explain more on this in a later post. Don't want to go into it now.
Next - don't know if I will be writing more on Ashantara Tales not from lack of interest, but maybe from other matters (mostly related to health and finances***) that interfere with concentration of stringing words together in a coherent fashion. Ditto for the as-yet-unposted/unpublished Genesis Wars storyline.
Next - related to the above excuse, due to finances and health (both mine and sordak's), depression is kicking my butt very badly. For those who know me - even though I live with the Occam's Razor of suicidal thoughts daily, the impulses are way, way down, so don't worry - not going anywhere yet. It is so much fun to be very crazy, be aware of it and be lucid about it. Not! Being crazy is not all it is cracked up to be.
*. . . and, yes, I am aware that there are about 100 or so listed on my f-list, but I don't think many of them read the annoyances I put here.
**Hopefully I will be cremated and not buried, but since I can afford neither, who knows?
***Something I need to explain to folks, but again, not ready to beat that horse yet.
For anyone who thinks that what-is-touted-to-be-the-Greatest-Country-In-The-World is right in denying basic health care to us poor, lazy, expendable bottom feeders of the general population, I am so going to laugh myself silly when you no longer have a base of people like me to hold you up out of the muck and mire.
Oh. Also disabling comments because any argument anyone may have to refute the above opinions have been hashed to death by sordak and myself. I may allow comments later.
