The Roman View
Hey - a bit of a different post today. The easiest (at least for me) way to do this is show you the Author's Note I put at the end of the chapter: Authors note: Since this chapter ends on a virtual cliff hanger, I am going to give you, the audience, a chance to help with a decision. Part of me hates to do this in light of the donation we received this week by mail, but part of me thinks it is the right bit of a nudge. You can vote, as it were, by donating a dollar to the donation meter. Once we reach $10, the follow-up chapter to this one will be posted. Otherwise, you will have to wait until Wednesday.
Part of the reason for the note, other than the cliffhanger, is to see if our audience is really interested. I know a lot of folks who read this are as strapped as we are, but feedback or comments to a chapter help. This request is a form of feedback.
Now to the meat of the post.
Make A Wish Upon Tomorrow has just posted a new chapter for The Roman View - Chapter XVI - Roman Hidden Passageways, or WHAT THE . . .!
And the teaser: Things began to settle down a bit after the fracas in the main hall. The new/old furniture matched my tastes perfectly, so the villa began to feel more like home. The Lady hadn't visited in a while because of some private business and the servants and guards were as unobtrusive as ever. Thus I was left to my own devices, so I decided to explore my new home.
