Over in LJ haikujaguar is doing a semi-interactive web story, Spots, the Space Marine, and she has a donation button because some of the donated funds go to charities that help soldiers and veterans in need.
As she says in the intro it is sort of "Pollyanna meets Starship Troopers", but it is great fun. It is fun for her too since she uses the story-line to help her cope with the boredom of exercising.
