Just got back from the hospital. Mom's doctor stopped in while we were there and the news is not good. Not good at all. She does not have chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) she has acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL), which is usually seen in children. The aggressive chemo would severly damage her quality of life so we are looking at 2 to 6 months.
For those reading The Roman View on
sordak's LJ and those following
ashantara_tales please bear with us while we recover from this news. We will get back to the stories, but it will be a few days.
Oh, Mom may need transfusions from time to time (to delay the inevitable) and if any one wishes to donate to the Red Cross in her name it would be most appreciated.
