There Is Certainly Uncertainty In All Our Eyes....
I'm on vacation! I'm so excited. This week's going to be full of relazation and food and... college apps. Damn. But it's been good so far!
Yesterday: After classes ended, Lydia and I watched three episodes of "West Wing" (season three) and then we met up with Spencer and drove into Boston with my parents, who let the three of us off by Copley. Then we shopped for about an age; it was awesome. Then took the T to Harvard and saw the a cappella concert! Amazing-ness. Radcliffe Pitches, Yale Spizzwinks (?), Harvard Din & Tonics. Yale was actually the best, but we were careful not to mention that on the crimson campus, espcially since Yale TROUNCED Harvard in the football game earlier that day. Much like how Andover crushed Exeter. Oh, well. It's been a good year for blue. (Colts, Andover, Yale, Democrats.... One of those I like.) Anyway it was a lot of fun and Lydia and I both got Spizzwinks (?) CDs and we all went home.
Today: Slept until 12.30. Yesss. Woke up, lounged around, ate a little, watched the Patriots totally obliterate the Packers (SCORE!), watched a few "West Wing" episodes, took a shower. Adam came over at 6.30 and ate with me and my family and then we all (sans Tom) went and saw "Happy Feet" on the IMAX screen. HILARIOUS. The last third kinda sucked a little bit, but the majority of the movie was freaking amazing. And ADORABLE beyond belief. I want the soundtrack.
So anyway we just dropped Adam off at his house and now I'm home. Tomorrow I sleep in, make folders for each of the nine schools to which I'm applying, I call some teachers about recs, I talk to my mom about going to Connecticut and Portsmith (unrelated trips), I do my laundry, I watch "Studio 60." And finish "The Rule of Four" if I don't get through the rest of it tonight.
