I love kids. I don't understand my friends who don't. They can't stand to be around children. Especially the precocious ones. But I've always though of children as uncorrupted adults. They know they we are suppose to be, it's only after years of socialization and shame that we change. I love the ones that try to hold on to their identity. I even love the precocious ones that mimic adults and it's so dead-on. And adults hate seeing themselves in their own children. I love that because it's such a revelation to them, like "Yes, that IS what you are really like."
