Intramural Basketball
Tonight I played intramural basketball with Mollay and Ski. And you'd never guess it to look at me, but I scored. And I'm pretty sure it was a three-pointer. It was fun playing tonight in a casual setting, but I've officially decided that basketball is not my sport. And by that I mean I don't really like it. I kinda like to watch it and some of it's fun, but, really, it's like a no-contact sport. I can't handle it. I want to hit people.
So to make a long story short, we lost 61-22. I hate losing. The whole point of competition is to win. I play soccer to win. It didn't bother me as much to lose at basketball cuz I know it's not my thing. But it still definitely bothered me. Good thing we gonna win so much at soccer season.
It snowed today and was very pretty. Tomorrow it's supposed to be nice out again.
Jenn and I went on a walk for over an hour today and talked and took pictures. It was sunny out and the snow was so pretty and white! We walked the neighbourhood, the trail, the P, and then stopped at the park for a bit. I love going on walks with Jenn. It's sad to think of how quickly time is moving and I am rapidly approaching a time in my life (graduation) where I will no longer live in such close proximity to my good friends. And that will be a sad day. It'll take adjustment.
I had a small victory in my battle with no complaining today. At times, the temptation to just let loose with complaints is almost unbearable and I have given in a few times... But I'm keeping at it BECAUSE of God - because He's freed me and really it's His reputation at stake. Which can be a real bummer for Him, cuz I mess up lots.
