'Nother reason to love my new computer?
On my old laptop an AVG scan would 1) run for nearly two hours if I was on the computer at the time and 2) slow everything down.
On this one it takes seven minutes.

Also, I'm on page four of the next part of The Necessary Steps, the Sam/Gabriel fic that I actually have at least two or three more parts figured out for.

Also, the desk chair I bought at the church auction for five bucks, has one arm (the other broke off) and doesn't roll (which is a good thing on my wood floors) and you screw down the entire seat to lower it, is quite comfy and it's so nice to have my feet flat on the floor and my laptop keyboard at a comfortable level. My old chair was too high and the lever to lower it was broken which not only made my legs hurt from dangling but also my shoulders from hunching.
Now I just need to clean my bedroom so I can have the geek boy over to fix my desktop and get my wireless working.
In other news, I signed up for the dean/cas bigbang. I have a dim idea for something post 5.22. It's due in September, about the time season six starts, so shouldn't get jossed too badly. Thanks to bellanorth for agreeing to be my grammar/spelling beta. I could have lied and said joe blow betaed it, but I prefer not to break the rules even when I find the rules constricting. Except the disclaimer one. I got the okay to add that to the header.
Now I have to come up with an idea for my vampire bigbang that isn't, y'know, TEAOW&S. It's also due late summer. Guess I know what I'll be doing this summer!
Also, it's probably not a good idea to volunteer to sing "Oh Death" at our memorial service this summer, right?
