that time of year

Signed up for Yuletide using my ancient version of Netscape. I, the microsoft hater, finds it very amusing that you can't use IE to sign up. Anyway, I had no problems. I have no clue what number I was or how many fandoms I offered to write in. Hell, after spending an hour going through the list I can't remember what I requested! lolol But I had to get it done now since the signups end while I'm in Vegas.

I'm so far behind on housecleaning etc. It didn't help that I fell asleep on the couch around 11:00 last night when I should have been folding and putting away clothes. I leave Saturday at dawn and I foresee being up all Friday night. *sigh* Tonight, of course, is out until around 10:30 after I watch Vampire Diaries, SPN (WHEEEEEEEE), Bones and Fringe.

I really need to figure out what clothes to take, which means trying some on that didn't fit three months ago but might fit now.

Choir practice was good last night. We're not performing anything for three Sundays so that made it a bit more relaxed, and then we're doing a unison hymn and the following Sunday unison "Praise the Lord and Pass the Ammunition". Dad's doing a service on foxhole religion or something.

For Christmas we're singing this wonderful version of Silent night. Each part sings a different language--German, Spanish and, for some unknown reason, Korean. The male voices sing the Korean and then Zulu! It's a really great arrangement.

lolol Just got a call asking for an assistant of mine who quit about seven years ago! Geeez!

Well, should work or read fanfic or something...
