yay football!

Outside of the fact that last night I had a fever again (and I've had an earache for over a week, please god not another sinus infection) which is probably why I've been so tired the last couple days and why I was achey yesterday afternoon and why walking was so owey, and went to bed before 10:30 last night, today has been okay.

...

Oh, hell, it's been better than okay! Guess what I did! Guess, guess...

...

Okay, I'll tell you.

I WROTE 5000 WORDS OF TEAOW&S!

*waits for everyone to awaken from fainting spells*

I have four more scenes to write in this very long chapter and maybe I'll even get to that tonight but definitely this weekend. I sat on my ass and watched football and wrote!

KU is winning by 24-0 at the half; my low fat Italian meatloaf was delicious; the finance committee meeting was actually kind of fun at times; and no fever yet! *fingers crossed*

"I never truly expected to marry or father children," William said faintly, but before Willow could respond, Drusilla drifted into the room. She wore a red silk nightgown cut low over her breasts, and her hair was tangled over her shoulders. The blank expression on her face sent a shiver of fear through Willow.

Drusilla's eyes slid around the room to land on William, who had risen at her appearance, and was blushing at her lack of clothing. "You are wrong."

"Dru..."

"He is wrong, Willow. He should not be here. It should be Spike. Spike would know how to help me."

"Help you with what, miss?"

"I am lost and empty and he would fill me." A crafty look replaced the blankness and she moved closer to William who gave her an uncertain look. "I could turn you..."

"No, Drusilla," Willow snapped sharply, trying to draw the vampiress' attention. "That wouldn't be right."

"You couldn't stop me." She took another step closer and William stepped back. Suddenly very scared, Willow rose to her feet and moved between the two. "I don't want to hurt you, Willow. Or...maybe I do."

"Drusilla!" Christian's appearance in the kitchen sent a bolt of relief through Willow. "Did I give you permission to leave me?"

While Willow gaped at Christian, the least dominant of all the Family, taking control over Drusilla, the vampiress whimpered and dropped her gaze to the floor. "No, sir."

"Return to your room."

She quickly skittered past him and the tension left the kitchen.

"Jesus." Willow blew out a sigh and sank back into her chair.

Penn sagged against the fridge as William gave them both puzzled looks.

"What happened here? Who is that woman?"

Penn held out his hand and William shook it. "I'm Christian Penn. In vampiric terms, I'm your younger brother, but I'm the elder of Drusilla and can claim dominance over her. I've never done it, though. Let's just put it this way, I don't like it."

teaow&s, state of me
