I'm always the freakin' hermit!

I had my first major dental procedure this morning at 7:00 a.m. I made the appointment so early so that I wouldn't have to wait and I wouldn't be that late to work. It actually only took an hour and twenty minutes so I was on time to work. The partial crown turned into an inlay because the tooth was healthier than expected, so I saved $154.00. ( Read more... )

Me and my flashbacks. I overuse them. *sigh* But Highlander was full of flashbacks as was Kung Fu and Forever Knight. Sometimes I'd recall a scene with people in old-fashioned costumes and it would take me the longest time to identify which show it came from *g*

Thanx for the meme - I'm heading over there to find out which card I am.

I've used flashbacks a lot in fic. It gets really confusing when I flash back within a flashback. *face palm*

Ookay I can see where that might be a bit too much for the reader.

Yeah, I sometimes forget the reader doesn't know everything I know especially when the characters have been living in my head for years.

It's weird, I created this OFC even before the series came out, after the movie, and she's been in my head for twenty years and now she's talking like crazy! It has a hopefully interesting twist on the mythology of the movie and show concerning the prize and female immortals. I remember being so surprised there were female immortals introduced into the series.

I have read some of Rhi's work. I'm using crack_van as my rec spot. :)

I'm now attempting to eat yogurt with half my mouth still numb!

I'm now attempting to eat yogurt with half my mouth still numb! I've done that. I had a root canal last fall and some other dental work and spent the rest of the day trying to regain use of my face. I hate having to go to the dentist but it's necessary *sigh*

The numbness finally wore off after five hours but now my cheek is sore. *sigh*

Makes me really wish I'd been better with my teeth as a kid since all recent problems have been due to decades' old fillings wearing out.

My lip is still a bit numb. Feels weird! At least it isn't a shot anymore, or, if it was, I was so numb from some kind of gel I didn't feel it. I used to hate those shots!

It's almost certainly still a shot, after they do the topical numbing gel stuff. :^)
